About Winoa
The Winoa Group is a manufacturer specializing in the production of steel blasting media and surface treatment solutions under the W Abrasives brand. The product portfolio includes Steel Shot and Steel Grit, premium media such as HPG, Hybrid Shot, Profilium and Surfium, stainless steel blasting media (Stelux, Stainium), cut wire made of steel, zinc and aluminum as well as non-metallic abrasives such as Chilled Iron Grit, granite cutting abrasives and Zero Valent Iron. Production starts with recycled scrap (95% of raw materials, sourced within a 200 km radius), which is melted, atomized by water jet and then thermally and mechanically treated. In addition, the W Care business unit offers consulting, testing, training, maintenance and blasting machine upgrades. Since 1961, the company has supported customers with 8 production sites worldwide and 21 Application Experts, among others in the automotive, steel and construction industries; 18 patents have been filed since its founding.
