About WIRA

WIRA Fahrzeug- und Maschinenteile GmbH is a family-owned company founded in Wipperfürth in 1976, specialising in ready-to-install connecting elements for compressed air systems in OEM quality. The product range comprises more than 7,900 products: tool-free mountable plug-in connectors for plastic tubing, cold-forming cutting ring systems for steel and plastic tubing, as well as customer-specific configurable distribution blocks and brake cylinder connections. The portfolio is complemented by an in-house contract turning shop, which has been producing precision turned parts from steel, brass, aluminium and plastic since 2022 – including small and very small lot sizes as well as production to customer specifications. The core industries are the commercial vehicle industry (including compressed air brake systems, air suspension, trailer couplings), agricultural technology, the spare parts trade and mechanical engineering. At the Wipperfürth site in the Oberbergischer Kreis, two plants produce on modern CNC lathes; deliveries are made worldwide. Quality management is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and environmental management to ISO 14001.
