Wirebot develops robotic wiring systems for the industrial manufacturing of electrical control cabinets. The company is a spin-off of Polygon, a robotics and automation company with over 25 years of experience. The systems are CNC-like industrial-grade wiring machines based on an IP portfolio of seven patents. The technology includes an AI-based vision system, a custom-developed robotic arm for wiring tasks, a multitool end effector with multisensory feedback, and slip-and-grip haptic algorithms for precise wire manipulation and dual-arm robotics. The product range consists of the WISE Wire Server Unit and the SHARP Vertical Wiring Machine. These convert the manual wiring process into an automated, flexible robotic process, according to the company with more than fourfold efficiency and higher quality. The wiring sequence comprises Scanning, Wire Prep, Wire Pick-up and Wire Insertion. Target groups are control cabinet builders and the automation industry.
