About Wirtz-Chemieprodukte
Wirtz-Chemieprodukte GmbH was founded in 1980 by Heinz Wirtz and, as a family business now in its third generation, is a sales and project office for fine and specialty chemical products. The company brokers contract manufacturing and custom synthesis on the German-speaking market for its exclusive partner companies in Europe and the USA, acting not as a distributor: the business relationship exists directly between customer and principal, while Wirtz-Chemieprodukte acts as an external marketing and sales team as well as a local contact for technical and commercial questions. The brokered partner companies offer virtually the entire range of organic reactions, with multipurpose plants in stainless steel, Hastelloy and glass-lined steel in reactor sizes from laboratory scale up to 50 m³, pressure reactions in autoclaves up to 120 bar, as well as distillation, solvent recycling and analytical services. Projects are accompanied from laboratory sample through pilot production to industrial manufacturing on a multi-tonne scale, including reshoring and outsourcing projects. Customer industries include pharmaceuticals, crop protection, cosmetics, coatings, additives as well as forward-looking applications such as energy storage, natural-substance-based crop protection agents and bio-based plastics. All products come from Western manufacturing.
