About WISTRA
WISTRA GmbH, based in Lübeck-Selmsdorf, develops, produces and distributes textile and mechanical auxiliary equipment for cargo securing. The portfolio includes lashing straps and cargo securing nets, airline beams, rotary latch fasteners (POWERBRACE as licensed production) as well as customs seals and anti-theft devices. The textile products are manufactured and assembled at the Selmsdorf site on sewing machines and fully automatic sewing machines; mechanical components such as aluminium net tubes are assembled. An in-house development department using 3D design software also creates custom special solutions, some of which have become standard products. As an official supplier of customs seals within the scope of German customs law, WISTRA serves industries such as transport and logistics, freight forwarding, parcel and postal logistics, and security and customs technology. Since 2016, the company has been part of the Heico Group of Companies.
