About Witte Maschinenbau
Witte Maschinenbau is a family-owned company founded in 1955 in Brilon-Altenbüren (Sauerland) with the business fields of special machinery construction, tool, mould and fixture making as well as contract manufacturing. With 25 employees, the company develops and designs special machines, LPDC casting machines, hydraulic fully-deburring tools for aluminium die casting, wax injection moulds for investment casting as well as fixtures, handling devices and gauges based on specifications, sketches or 3D data; the design work is carried out with PTC Creo. In contract manufacturing, components made of steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass, bronze and plastics are milled, turned, drilled and ground – including welded assemblies, organized heat treatment, assembly and measurement reports. The machine park comprises 15 CNC machining machines, including seven 5-axis simultaneous milling machines and an 8-m travelling-column milling machine for workpieces up to 15 t. Customers include companies from light-metal casting, tyre manufacturing, metrology and weighing technology, drive technology and mechanical engineering. Since 2008 the company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and has operated its own training workshop for precision mechanics since 2017.
