WK Wärmetechnische Anlagen, Kessel- und Apparatebau GmbH & Co. KG, based in Wetzlar, was founded in 1959 and specializes in the engineering and construction of highly efficient exhaust air purification systems which, in combination with energy recovery systems, achieve low energy consumption. The portfolio includes recuperative and regenerative thermal oxidation systems (RTO), Catalytic Oxidizers (CTOx), DeNOx/SCR systems for flue gas denitrification, exhaust gas heat exchangers, ORC systems for power generation, as well as painting systems and paint shop systems. A multidisciplinary engineering team covers process, mechanical and electrical engineering. WK has already delivered individual RTO units with up to 250,000 Nm³/h. Since its acquisition by CECO Environmental, the company has been part of an internationally active environmental technology industrial group with locations in Germany, Singapore, the USA, China and India. Customer industries include semiconductor, battery, petrochemical, chemical, automotive and general industry.
