WKT Westfälische Kunststofftechnik GmbH is a family-owned manufacturer of plastic pipes and molded parts, now in its third generation, and has been producing in Sprockhövel since 1954. The portfolio includes pressure pipes for drinking water, gas and sewage made of PE 100 RC and PA 12, cable protection and co-extruded multilayer pipes made of PE 100 RC, PE 100, PE-HD and PE-RT, pressure and ventilation pipes made of PVC-U and PVC-C, non-pressure pipes (free-surface pipes) made of PE 100, as well as straight-length and coil pipes with lengths up to 20 m and outer diameters up to 630 mm. The core process is pipe extrusion including in-house material preparation with proprietary formulations and colors; in addition, hoses, fencing systems, carrier roller pipes and machined plastic components according to customer drawings are produced. Quality assurance supports production with, among other things, an automatic wall thickness measuring device, a QM system per DIN EN ISO 9001 and energy management per DIN EN ISO 50001. The products are backed by DVGW, DIN CERTCO, KIWA and KOMO certifications.
