About WMA Schmidt & Bittner

WMA Schmidt & Bittner GmbH specialises in resistance welding technology and has been based in Ilsfeld-Auenstein (Baden-Württemberg) since 1969. The company develops, designs and manufactures customised welding solutions and equipment – from resistance welding machines with welding controls in three series to spot, projection, roll seam and butt welding machines, as well as capacitor discharge and micro welding systems. Another focus is special machine construction and welding automation, in which systems are designed precisely to customer requirements. In its own production facility, WMA manufactures all cones as well as special electrodes for spot welding to customer specification, in addition to its standard range. The portfolio is complemented by welding tools, spot welding guns, insulation technology with high-performance materials, technical plastic parts, as well as rental service, installation, maintenance, repair, consulting and training. Customers come from industry, trade and research, including mechanical engineering, plastics technology and special machine construction.
