Company profile

WMK Plastics GmbH is a compounder of technical plastic granulates headquartered in Solingen and has been part of the LEHVOSS Group (Lehmann&Voss&Co., Hamburg) since 2015. At the compounding plant, 1A virgin material, industrial grades (virgin material with recycled materials and additives), high-quality regranulates and customer-specific specialty compounds are produced – with an annual capacity of around 9,000 tonnes of granulate. The product range includes polyamides (PA 6, PA 6.6), PC/ABS blends, POM (homopolymer and copolymer), PBT, polycarbonate and ABS; properties can be modified with additives and fillers such as glass and carbon fibres, flame retardants, lubricants or minerals, and colour settings are made to RAL, HKS, Pantone or customer specifications. In addition, the company offers toll processing of sprues, reject parts and regrind as well as application technology consulting, sampling and warehouse logistics. An in-house laboratory carries out incoming/outgoing inspection and process-accompanying quality control; customer groups include the plastics processing industry, automotive (IMDS, GADSL) and the electrical/electronics industry (WEEE, RoHS, REACh).
