About Wöllner-Stift
Wöllner-Stift gGmbH is a diaconal provider of elderly and nursing care based in Rösrath-Hoffnungsthal in the Bergisches Land region. The facility originated from a hospital built in 1898 and was converted into a residential care home in 1956. Today the Stift offers inpatient care with 138 places, short-term care, day care, outpatient care through the nursing service “Wöllner mobil”, assisted living in the August and Vierkotten houses, and a childcare day-care service, and is home to more than 300 people. The offering also includes social services, companionship and pastoral care, service and gastronomy in the Restaurant Haus Pauline, and a public cultural programme in the historic event hall. A sustainability concept includes, among other things, a photovoltaic system, a combined heat and power unit, LED lighting and beehives in the sensory garden.
