About WOKO Magnet- und Anlagenbau
For more than 40 years, WOKO Magnet- und Anlagenbau GmbH has been developing and producing electro lifting magnets and magnetic systems at its Duisburg site. The portfolio includes round and rectangular magnets with welded steel housings, scrap magnets, sheet-lifting magnets and tilting magnets, overband magnetic separators for separating ferromagnetic materials, as well as power supply systems (diesel, hydraulic, belt-drive and three-phase generators) and control systems including radio remote controls. The magnets are used in steelworks, port facilities, shipyards, material handling centres, the demolition industry and recycling, lifting sheets, slabs, billets, profiles, tubes, wire coils and scrap. WOKO covers the entire value chain from design through manufacturing to installation, maintenance, accident-prevention (UVV) testing and spare parts supply. Since 2009 the company has been a subsidiary of Heppenstall Technology (Switzerland) and supplies customers via a global sales network.
