Wolf-Dierk Lohnitz glas + spiegel KG is a medium-sized family business in its second generation based in Machern near Leipzig, specializing in the processing and finishing of flat glass. Its core competence covers flat glass processing through cutting, grinding, CNC milling, contour grinding, drilling and waterjet cutting up to glass sizes of 2400 x 4500 mm and glass thicknesses of 3 to 55 mm. In the field of finishing, sandblasting, frost-pattern etching, groove grinding, bevel grinding, screen printing, direct glass printing as well as painting and powder coating are offered. The company manufactures thermally toughened single-pane safety glass (SGG SECURIT), heat-soak tested SECURIT-HF and laminated safety glass (SGG STADIP) according to DIN and is a licensed partner of Saint Gobain Glass. Using UV bonding technology, glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal bonds are joined into functional glass elements. The products are used in bathroom design, living environments, structural glazing, interiors and ship fitting; delivery takes place nationwide via the company's own vehicle fleet, supplemented by on-site installation.
