About Wolter
Wolter GmbH Maschinen- und Apparatebau KG is a medium-sized family-owned company that has been developing and manufacturing fans and ventilation equipment since 1971. Initially based in the Karlsruhe region, the company has been manufacturing for the global market since 1984 in the Black Forest municipality of Völkersbach (today Malsch-Völkersbach). The products cover practically all applications of general air handling and climate technology and take account of growing demands on indoor air quality and energy efficiency; modern drive and control technology increases efficiency and lowers operating costs over the life of the system. As a system partner, Wolter offers customised ventilation concepts for the ventilation and smoke extraction of underground car parks, in which jet fans, supply and exhaust air fans, sensors and control elements work together. For the maritime industry, Wolter supplies seagoing vessels and offshore installations, including ventilation of engine and cargo rooms as well as comfort ventilation, supplemented by worldwide spare parts supply and service. About 80 percent of revenue is generated through exports.
