About Worksitt
Worksitt is a Danish company in Hvorslev that develops and produces ergonomic work chairs, standing aids and tabourets. Its roots go back to 1980, when Benny Biller designed the original Ståstøttestol (standing-support chair); the Worksitt brand itself was founded in 2007 after the sale of the old factory. Production is largely in-house in metal – including wrought iron, steel and stainless steel – supplemented by upholstery in PU foam and artificial leather. In addition to its own chair ranges, custom-made items are produced as one-offs or in series, as well as finished metal products for other companies; the range also includes products such as garden carts and complete apple presses. The chairs are sold via the company's own webshop to offices, institutions, industry, workshops, hair salons and clinics, with delivery in Denmark within 2–4 working days and a five-year warranty on all chairs.
