About WTI
WTI (World Technology Ingredients) develops and produces functional food ingredients in dry and liquid form for meat and poultry, seafood, prepared foods, soups, sauces, dips, dressings and pet food. The product range includes antimicrobial agents (Ional®, NatureIn®, DV®), phosphates (Myosol®), binders (TenderIn®) and flavor solutions (FlavorIn®). The technology is based primarily on two plant-derived basic ingredients: vinegar and lemon, which are naturally sourced, clean-label and sustainable. WTI shaped the industry's clean-label development by introducing vinegar as an effective alternative to lactates and diacetates. Production, product development, the Food Safety Lab (Biosafety Level II) and the Food Application Lab with a modern ingredients pilot plant are integrated at the Jefferson, Georgia site. The subsidiary WTI International GmbH, founded in 2014 in Hofheim am Taunus, serves Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including application technology and warehousing.
