WPS Werkzeug Präzisions Schleiferei GmbH was founded in 1994 by Thomas Dahl in Willich and specializes in machining processes for alloyed and especially hard metallic materials. The company produces complex components as single-part or series production according to individual customer requirements – in addition to standard 'off-the-shelf' products, the focus is on 'custom-made' products that are developed, optimized and manufactured jointly with customers and suppliers. The production range includes surface, cylindrical and profile grinding with tolerances down to 1 µm, polishing, CNC milling, turning with counter-spindle as well as wire EDM, even on hardened steels, carbides, titanium alloys and ceramics. In addition, heat and surface treatments, design services and the assembly of components through to final assembly are offered. Customers come from tool and mould making as well as the food, packaging and automotive industries. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and works with modern measuring machines for quality assurance.
