About WSP Präzision
WSP Präzision is a specialised manufacturing company for gear racks and gear components based in Hohenwart, Upper Bavaria. The company manufactures gear racks (straight, helical and round-toothed, module 2–4 to DIN 867), round gear racks, shafts, worm gears, gears and milled parts to drawing – from one-off to small series, with a production range up to 3,000 mm component length. Processes are CNC gear milling, CNC turning and milling; heat treatment is carried out with specialised partner hardening shops, complemented by a European supplier network for materials and surface technology. Materials include, among others, tempered steel C45, stainless steel 1.4305, 42CrMo4, Toolox and POM. Customers come from general and special-purpose machinery construction, plant engineering, automotive/motorsport, medical technology, food and pharmaceutical plants as well as additive manufacturing. Production in Hohenwart has been running since 2015; since 2022 the company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; production follows lean principles modelled on the Toyota Production System.
