About BFSA
WST Präzisionstechnik GmbH, based in Löffingen in the Black Forest, distributes automation solutions for machining production under the BFSA brand. The core product is the smart cell, a compact robot cell (footprint 1200 x 800 mm) with a 6-axis robot, used as a stand-alone cell or in combination with existing production machines. The more powerful Smart Cell Pro handles workpieces up to 16 kg payload with a reach of up to 1,400 mm. Process steps such as cleaning, air cleaning, thread checking, measuring, laser marking, welding, packaging, brush deburring, bonding, testing, crack testing, preservation, greasing, assembly and press-fitting can be integrated into the cells. In addition, BFSA offers a patented intelligent vise solution for cross-workpiece automation of milling machines as well as sales and integration of the FANUC ROBODRILL α-DiB5 machining centers (D21S, D21M, D21L). The team, which emerged from the manufacturing industry and comprises over 30 employees, has implemented more than 130 running automation systems; customers come primarily from the machining industry, tooling technology and medical technology.
