WTE Präzisionstechnik GmbH is a medium-sized company founded in 1999 and headquartered in Ehrenfriedersdorf (Erzgebirge, Saxony); it has belonged to the MAPAL Group since 2008. The company develops and produces high-performance products in the field of clamping technology. The product range includes hydraulic expansion chucks, drilling chucks, micro clamping chucks and shrink-fit chucks, which are used in the machining of metal components. International customers include mechanical engineering as well as the automotive and aerospace industries. WTE employs around 150 staff, including 12 apprentices, and places great emphasis on its own training and further education of skilled workers. Production is located at the main site in the industrial park on the B 95 in Ehrenfriedersdorf.
