WTEED GmbH, based in Vienna, is the manufacturer of the Human-Centric Lighting solution SundialLED, a patented Austrian invention in the field of biologically effective lighting. The system controls the light color fully automatically depending on the time of day, season and geographic location: during the day, SundialLED shines in a cool white and activating tone; at sunset the color temperature switches to warm white to support the natural sleep-wake rhythm. Neither sensors nor an internet connection are required, and no settings whatsoever are needed. SundialLED applications exist for both indoor and outdoor use, for example for workplace lighting and in the context of light therapy and well-being. According to the manufacturer, production takes place in Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovenia, marketed under the term "made in Europe". The company originates from the manufacturer of the successful VersiLED product line.
