About WTS Produktion
WTS Produktion AG, based in Alterswil in the canton of Fribourg, manufactures finned heat exchangers made of copper and aluminium. The company was founded in 1990 by Erwin Piller as a trading firm for heat transfer products and began its own production of Cu/Al finned heat exchangers in 1996. Since then, production and storage capacities have been expanded several times, most recently with the construction of a new production hall in 2020. Manufacturing comprises sheet metal processing, fin stamping and the soldering of heat exchangers. The product range extends from air heaters and air coolers to direct evaporators, condensers and axial condensers, through to steam heating elements, plate heat exchangers and axial recoolers with EC control technology. In addition, the company offers reconstructions, refurbishments, customer service and the provision of CAD data. Since 2012, Daniel Piller has been leading the company in the second family generation.
