About Wüppenhorst

Wüppenhorst Entsorgungsbetriebe GmbH is a family-owned company from Stemwede-Oppenwehe that has been active in waste disposal and recycling since 1973. Its 45-person team handles household waste collection on behalf of municipalities: in the district of Lübbecke the company collects the recyclables and paper bins, and in the town of Rahden and the municipality of Stemwede the organic and residual waste bins. For private and commercial customers from the trades, construction and industry, Wüppenhorst offers a container and skip service with skip containers (5–10 m³), roll-off containers (13–40 m³) and exchange containers (120–5,000 litres). At its headquarters in Stemwede, the company operates a regional disposal facility with a broad acceptance catalogue, its own LVP sorting plant for lightweight packaging as well as a 50-tonne weighbridge. The approx. 30,000 m² site comprises seven halls; the fleet consists of more than 20 vehicles. Since 1999 the company has been certified as a certified waste management company (Entsorgungsfachbetrieb) under the Circular Economy Act.
