Würth Elektrogroßhandel (W.EG.), headquartered in Künzelsau, is a group of electrical wholesale companies in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe and acts as the holding company for the electrical wholesale activities of the Würth Group. The group comprises 24 companies with more than 500 locations, around 8,600 employees and revenue of over 4 billion euros. As a full-range supplier, W.EG. offers a total assortment of over 1,300,000 items, of which more than 35,000 are stock items, covering electrical materials, cables and wires, data and network technology, lighting, renewable energies, building services, tools and multimedia. For industrial and major customers, the company provides key account management, C-parts management, kitting, Kanban as well as logistics with three central warehouses in Germany and delivery within 24/48 hours. Since 2019, FEGA & Schmitt has operated a CNC machining center in Heilsbronn for machining small enclosures and large cabinets (100 to 2,000 mm), including the mounting of accessories and the manufacture of distribution boards, control cabinets and assemblies as an extended workbench.
