About Würth Elektronik
The Würth Elektronik Unternehmensgruppe was founded in 1971 in Niedernhall (Baden-Württemberg) and is part of the Würth Group. It produces and distributes electronic components such as printed circuit boards, active and passive electronic components, electromechanical elements such as connectors, as well as complete system assemblies. The Circuit Board Technology division manufactures single-sided, double-sided, flexible, semiflexible and rigid-flex printed circuit boards as well as multilayer and HDI printed circuit boards at its Niedernhall, Rot am See and Mysore sites, including printed circuit boards with embedded components, thermal management measures and wire bonding service. The eiSos division develops and manufactures capacitors, resistors, quartz crystals, transformers, LEDs, connectors, sensors and wireless solutions; ICS Intelligent Power & Control Systems supplies central electrical systems, powerboards, electronic control units and high-voltage solutions. Customers come from industrial electronics, telecommunications, consumer electronics, automotive, aviation, medical technology, sensor technology and renewable energies. In 2025, the group generated revenue of 1.06 billion euros at 23 production sites worldwide.
