Württembergische Elektromotoren GmbH (WEG Drives), headquartered in Balingen, develops and manufactures motors, gears and electronics with in-house development and in-house production. The product range includes three-phase motors up to 1,000 W, AC motors up to 750 W, DC motors up to 500 W and gear motors up to 120 Nm in numerous gear ratios and variants. In the power range from 40 to 1,000 watts, the company positions itself as a gear motor manufacturer for the capital goods industry. Thanks to a high level of vertical integration and flexible manufacturing facilities, electrical and mechanical custom adaptations – such as special housing shapes, degrees of protection, flanges or drive shafts – can also be implemented at short notice. The company is certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015, DIN ISO 14001:2015 and DIN ISO 50001:2018 and supplies customers in Germany as well as, via representatives, abroad.

Every drive is inspected in-house for its quality characteristics; certificates according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 are available (certifier GZQ mbH, Saarbrücken).
