About Wyzo
Wyzo is a Swiss company in the field of industrial automation based in Ecublens. Founded in 2021, the company emerged from DEMAUREX SA, the pioneer of the delta robot with over 4,000 robots installed worldwide. Wyzo develops and markets the Sidebot, which as the first robot class of its kind performs high-speed pick-&-place tasks at up to 90 cycles per minute and can work directly next to people at the workplace without protective barriers. The Sidebot features a TÜV-certified safety system with sensors that continuously monitor the environment for human activity and instantly reduce the working speed when people approach. With a footprint of less than 0.5 m², a height of 1.80 meters, and a design six times smaller than comparable compact pick-and-place robots, the system can be flexibly deployed at various workstations along the production line. The offering is aimed at both established manufacturers and companies taking their first steps into automation. The robot is used, among other things, in packaging applications and in high-speed production.
