YAMAICHI ELECTRONICS Deutschland GmbH develops and produces standard and custom connector solutions, cable assemblies, and test and Burn-In sockets for contacting semiconductor devices. The portfolio ranges from Circular Connectors (Y-Circ M/M12, Y-Circ P/Push-Pull) and Y-Lock Board-to-Cable systems through to highly integrated test systems for manual and automated testing. In-house manufacturing in Frankfurt (Oder) includes CNC long-turning and automatic turning, 3- and 5-axis milling, plastic injection molding (up to 150 t clamping force) including Hotmelt low-pressure injection molding, cable assembly, and the production of laminated Flexible Flat Cables (FFC). Materials include brass, aluminum, stainless steel, PEEK, and high-performance plastics. At the European Design Center in Aschheim with 30 CAD workstations, custom solutions including electrical and thermal simulation are developed; a test laboratory for product qualification and a PCB Full Custom Service complement the offering. Customers come from the semiconductor/test industry, automotive/e-mobility, medical technology, telecommunications/5G, aerospace, industry, and consumer electronics. The quality policy is based on a zero-defect philosophy with an in-house quality management system; ISO-9001 certification has been in place at the Munich site since 1996 and in Frankfurt (Oder) since 2008.
