YIH TROUN ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. (Y.T.) was established in Taiwan in 1977 and is a manufacturer of indexable cutting tools for metal processing. The company produces milling cutters, sawing tools, T-slot cutters, drilling tools, and threading tools, as well as countersinks, in over 4500 standard variants, possessing more than 30 patents. As the sole manufacturer in Taiwan, Y.T. manufactures carbide indexable inserts completely in-house—from pressing and sintering to grinding—and combines this with the production of tool holders. The tools are used for processing steel, stainless steel, cast iron (e.g., FC300), aluminum alloys, nickel, and superalloys, among other sectors, including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Technology (orthopedic implants), and the Defense sector. The company distributes its products in more than 40 countries and has maintained a branch office in Vietnam since 2018.
