About Z.I.S. Kunststoff
Z.I.S. Kunststoff GmbH is a family-owned manufacturer of cable protection systems for lines in utility and telecommunications networks. Founded in 1970, the company is now producing in its second generation cable protection pipes, split protection pipes, cable ducts, warning tapes and an extensive range of accessories. Production is carried out by extrusion and calibration of pipes made from the plastics PVC, HDPE and PP; depending on requirements, virgin material or recyclates from the plastics industry are used. The products are manufactured to DIN 16874, externally tested and distributed throughout Europe. Since its foundation, the production floor space has been expanded to over 19,000 m². For the further development of products and processes, a scientific cooperation exists with the Institute of Plastics Technology (Kunststofftechnik) of the University of Paderborn.
