About Z-Zone
Z-Zone is a sole proprietorship based in Nuremberg and a spin-off from Nuremberg Technical University. Since 2024, the team has been researching the connection between sleep and temperature regulation and, on this basis, is developing a product that automatically regulates the temperature under the duvet. According to the company, temperature is one of the most common sleep disruptors; a cooling of the body core is a prerequisite for falling asleep. The product is currently in development and, for patent-related reasons, is not yet shown publicly; interested customers can join a waitlist for a pilot phase. In addition to product development, Z-Zone publishes scientifically grounded articles on sleep and temperature regulation. This is a consumer health tech venture without its own manufacturing; no supply or contract manufacturing for industry takes place.
