About the ZAGRO Group
The ZAGRO Group is an association of three companies: ZAGRO Bahn- und Baumaschinen GmbH (Bad Rappenau-Grombach), ZWEIWEG International GmbH & Co. KG (Leichlingen) and GMEINDER LOKOMOTIVEN GmbH (Mosbach). The group develops, designs and produces road-rail and shunting technology: road-rail vehicles based on Unimog, trucks, vans and construction machinery, electric shunters with towing capacities from 50 to 2,000 tonnes, compact shunters, diesel, hybrid and battery locomotives, work vehicles for track maintenance, overhead line installation, rail grinding and rail welding, as well as firefighting and rescue vehicles. In-house manufacturing includes turning, milling, laser cutting, sheet metal processing with press brakes, welding including welding robots, painting, pre-assembly and final assembly. In cab and body construction, driver's cabs and superstructures are produced in steel frame and folded sheet metal design made of steel and aluminium tread plate, including ROPS, FOPS, TOPS and OECD tests. The vehicles are used by railways, transport operators, industrial companies, refineries, logistics companies and ports worldwide. With 330 employees, over 64 million euros in revenue and an export share of more than 50 percent, the group delivers quality made in Germany.
