Processes and Machine Technology
Dry grinding with knife guide
Knife guides with integrated magnets ensure that the hand knives are ground with the correct cutting edge angle.
Deburring and polishing
The polishing wheel removes the grinding burr and produces a burr-free, smooth cutting edge; peripheral speed and resistance compensate for handling errors.
Wet grinding process (EVO 5)
A coolant system with diaphragm pump cools the cutting edge and prevents overheating during grinding.
Extraction of polishing dust
The machine-side extraction port allows connection of an industrial vacuum cleaner and protects the operator's respiratory tract.
