About Zahnradbau Ruger

Zahnradbau Ruger GmbH is a Berlin-based company founded in 1920, specializing in the manufacture and machining of gears and machine parts. Its portfolio includes gears, drive components, shafts, worms and worm wheels, bevel gears, pinions, timing belt pulleys and axle spindles in all sizes — from one-off custom production and prototypes to small series. Manufacturing uses all common machining processes such as turning (vertical turning up to 1600 mm diameter), CNC milling, drilling and grinding; this is complemented by CAD/CAM design, engineering drawings and 3D measurement in the micrometer range. The products are used, among other things, in wind turbines, mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, rail transport, shipbuilding, power plants, pharmaceutical and medical technology, the food industry and construction machinery. In addition to custom production and the reproduction of original parts that are no longer available, the company accompanies customers from the initial idea through the functional prototype to installation and operation. In 2004, Wasili and Patrick Nezeris took over the company and expanded the product portfolio; the company is certified according to DIN ISO 9001. Its location is An der Spreeschanze 14 in Berlin-Spandau.
