ZALZAR GmbH is an owner-managed company based in Munich that has specialised in the development and manufacture of sun protection systems for vehicles since 1982. The product portfolio includes electric car blinds, rear window rollers, sun visors and the matching rail profiles. Production covers the assembly and kitting of the sun protection systems as well as the manufacture of rail profiles; custom designs to customer specification are possible. The rear window rollers are offered in three sizes (roller type I to III) with a maximum extension height of 570 mm. Customers include OEMs and contract manufacturers such as BMW, Daimler, Mercedes-AMG, the Hymer AG and Rolls-Royce, for whom the company has been a series supplier since 2003. The company is based at the Munich-Knorrstraße site, where production also takes place.
