About Zange Spezialschweissen
Zange Spezialschweissen GmbH is a certified welding specialist based in Grammetal in Thuringia, near Weimar. Founded in 1992, the company specialises in repair welding, cladding, rebar welding, cast iron welding as well as prototype and single-part manufacturing. Its core competence is combining technologically sophisticated repair welding solutions with mobile machining (drilling, milling, turning, spindles, flange machining) directly on site – without disassembly and transport of the components. In addition, the company's own machine shop produces single parts and small series using conventional and NC machining. Materials machined include steel, stainless steels, aluminium, castings and rebar. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, steel and special machinery construction, the automotive and aviation industries, the cement, lime and heavy industries, shipbuilding as well as chemical and energy plant construction. Since 2023, the company has operated at the site Steinbrüchenstraße 10 in the UNO-Nohra industrial park; an assembly hall for workpieces up to 63 tonnes is planned for 2026.
