About Zaptec
Zaptec ASA is a Norwegian technology company headquartered in Stavanger that develops, manufactures and distributes charging stations for electric cars (AC, up to 22 kW) as well as charging system management software. The product range includes the Zaptec Go and Zaptec Go 2 wallboxes for the home sector as well as the Zaptec Pro system charger for scalable installations from one to over 1,000 charging points in apartment buildings, parking garages and commercial enterprises. At the core of the technology is a patented dynamic load and phase balance that efficiently distributes the available grid connection capacity across multiple vehicles without costly grid upgrades. Zaptec also develops its own MID-certified metering devices and Plug&Charge software according to ISO 15118. The charging stations are developed and manufactured in Norway, designed for harsh climatic conditions and offered with a five-year warranty. In addition to its headquarters, the publicly listed company (Oslo Stock Exchange, ticker ZAP) maintains branches in Oslo, Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Switzerland.
