About ZAYER EMC
ZAYER EMC (European Machine Center) is the central point of contact for ZAYER in Central Europe, with a Technology Center near Frankfurt and a location in Lontzen on the Belgian-German border. The company distributes CNC milling machines and 5-axis machining centers from the Basque manufacturer ZAYER, handles customer support, sales and service, and makes the machines available for demonstration in its own Technology Center. The portfolio comprises gantry milling machines and machining centers of the ARION, ALTEA, ZERO, XIOS, KAIROS, KRONOS series and more for large-part machining. Technical hallmarks are positioning accuracies of ≤ 8 µm / 4,000 mm, repeatability of ≤ 5 µm / 4,000 mm, the 30° swivel milling head with 360,000 possible positions in 0.001° increments, and iCAL head calibration. The machines are used in mechanical engineering, the energy sector, the oil and gas industry, aerospace, and the rail industry. In Germany, Austria and Belgium, ZAYER EMC works together with the regional representatives Iberimex, TTS and Bender.

Precision & Calibration
The milling machines achieve a repeatability of ≤ 5 µm / 4,000 mm and a positioning accuracy of ≤ 8 µm / 4,000 mm. The milling heads are calibrated in space using the iCAL app, with a 300 mm measuring mandrel instead of a ball, including automatic tolerance detection and direct deviation compensation.
