About zb.packmittel
zb.packmittel is a sole proprietorship founded in 2003 and based in Velbert, specializing in wooden packaging for the metal industry. Its in-house production turns out one-way, two-way and reusable pallets, special, round and display pallets, EUR and plywood pallets, pallet lids, pallet collars, packaging lumber as well as transport and overseas crates in almost all dimensions. In addition, the company manufactures coil racks, also with transport covers, and offers inlays made of film or cardboard as well as repair of wooden packaging materials. All products are heat-treated according to the IPPC/ISPM 15 standard (authorization DE-NW-49851) and are made from technically dried wood with a residual moisture content below 20 percent; the wood is free of mold, pests and bark. With more than 50 products, warehousing and just-in-time delivery with its own vehicle fleet as well as partner companies in the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Lithuania and Austria, zb.packmittel also serves customers for export, among others to China and the USA.

Production is carried out according to the quality requirements of the IPPC/ISPM 15 standard including stamping; according to the About Us page, quality certification according to ISO 9001-2008 was pursued as a logical consequence. All products are made from technically dried wood with a maximum residual moisture of approx. 20 %.
