About ZEG

ZEG is a cooperatively organised wood wholesaler that supplies commercial customers exclusively – including trade businesses, resellers, public authorities and educational institutions. The product range covers panel materials such as chipboard, MDF, plywood, laminated timber, mineral materials and laminated panels, as well as edge banding, sawn timber, doors and construction fittings, flooring and terrace decking, chemicals, tools, machines and furniture fittings. In addition, ZEG offers industry solutions such as acoustic panels, the horatec furniture planning software, digital interfaces (ComNorm, OSD web service) and connections to manufacturer configurators from Blum, Hettich and REHAU. The company was founded in 1919 by 29 members, mostly cabinetmaker guilds around Stuttgart, and today, with around 5,000 members, is one of the largest cooperatives in the German wood trade. Around 1,000 employees at 15 locations and approximately 80 field sales professionals serve customers across almost all of Germany. The head office has been located in Kornwestheim since 2016.
