Zehnder & Sommer is an established manufacturer of press feeding technology with over 50 years of experience. The company develops and manufactures servo roll feeds, single- and double-sided roll feed systems, compact feeds for direct installation in the die, electric and pneumatic gripper feeds, as well as multi-axis and transfer systems with linear motors. The portfolio is complemented by feed controls with real-time monitoring, the high-speed pilot release system Colibri, pneumatic shears and scrap choppers, as well as peripheral equipment such as decoilers, straighteners, material cleaners and lubricators. The systems are used in the high-performance production of stamped and formed parts, including rotor/stator sheet laminations at rates exceeding 2,000 strokes per minute. Customer industries include automotive, electrical/electronics, packaging, household appliances, cosmetics, aerosols, defense, medical technology, and the construction of lamination lines. Following the insolvency of Zehnder & Sommer AG, Zehnder & Sommer International GmbH has taken over all business operations and serves its customers worldwide with German- and English-language service, among other things in partnership with MAWI GmbH in Bad Wildbad.
