About ZELL
The ZELL Group comprises ZELL Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG and ZELL Systemtechnik GmbH, headquartered in Ehingen-Volkersheim (Baden-Württemberg). Since 1991, the company has manufactured its own blasting systems in-house and offers contract blasting: sandblasting, shot peening, precision and cleaning blasting, deburring, as well as degreasing, browning and polishing – in high volumes up to 400 kg of bulk material per batch or on rotary table systems up to 1400 mm part size. Since March 2024, ZELL Systemtechnik has produced injection-molded plastic parts at its Rottenacker site with five Arburg machines: modular workpiece carrier systems (Factory, Carrier, BOX, GRID), cleaning baskets, clips and multiclips made of polyamide (PA 6 GF 30, GB 30, ESD plastic) and stainless steel for cleaning, heat treatment up to 1200 °C, automation and intralogistics. Customers come from more than 15 industries, including automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace, battery/EV and toolmaking; a sales office and a warehouse exist in the USA.

ZELL operates comprehensive in-house quality assurance; load tests of the plastic systems were carried out together with ZWICK/ROELL. Compatibility tests with cleaning agents (including Pero AG) as well as trial deliveries of test samples complement the testing.
