About Zeller+Gmelin

Zeller+Gmelin is an independent, mid-sized family company headquartered in Eislingen/Fils that has been in existence since 1866. The company develops and produces high-performance lubricants for industrial applications and vehicles, printing inks for packaging and label printing, and process chemicals for surface treatment, water treatment and cleaning. In the Lubricants division, solutions for e-mobility are also developed, such as coolants and lubricants for battery, fuel cell, motor and power electronics components. Research, development and production are all provided in-house; around 20% of the workforce at the Eislingen headquarters works in research and development. With around 1000 employees worldwide, 19 subsidiaries and several foreign production sites, the company supplies customers in over 80 countries. In January 2020, the Eislingen site was certified as the first climate-neutral chemical operation in Baden-Württemberg; remaining emissions (2448 t CO₂ in 2024) are offset through climate protection certificates.
