Zementwerk Lübeck is a cement grinding plant in the Herrenwyk industrial park in Lübeck, located directly on the Trave river. As a grinding plant, the company sources all raw materials by land or water, so that raw material delivery and loading are possible by truck and ship. The strategically favourable location between Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern enables the efficient supply of customers across a wide radius, from Flensburg to Berlin. The product range comprises Portland cements (CEM I), Portland-slag cements (CEM II) and blast furnace cements (CEM III); the majority of production focuses on cements with a low effective alkali content. The cements meet high standards and are suitable for the diverse requirements of all kinds of construction projects, especially in the construction and concrete as well as precast concrete industries. For occupational safety, the plant uses the electronic system eplas® for punctual instruction and training sessions.
