Zepter Austria GmbH, based in Vienna (Praterstr. 78/2/4, 1020 Vienna), is the Austrian sales company of the Zepter International Group, a Swiss multinational enterprise founded in 1986 by Philip Zepter in Linz. The Group's product range includes Masterpiece cookware made of 316L stainless steel, Therapy Air air purifiers, BIOPTRON hyperlight therapy devices, Hyperlight glasses, Zepter Cosmetics, kitchen appliances (Art Mix Pro), Ze-presso coffee machines and drinking water systems (Edelwasser, Aqueena). According to the company, production takes place group-wide in eight factories in Germany, Italy and Switzerland (according to Wikipedia also China); Zepter Austria itself acts as a sales and service unit without its own manufacturing. Distribution is via direct sales with consultants and partners (ZepterClub, discounts and commissions 5–40%) as well as an online shop. Group-wide, around one billion products have been sold in 60 countries.
