The machines generally consist of heavy welded steel constructions; rotor and stator knives are made of tool steel or carbide, with rotors optionally fitted with Hardox protective armor. A well-known product is the ZRS shredder, the world's first single-shaft shredder that shreds pipes up to 1200 mm diameter without pre-cutting – over 200 systems have been delivered. Customers come from plastics processing (injection molding, blow molding, extrusion), recycling, the pipe and profile industry, the tire/rubber industry, the wood industry and the e-scrap sector. In addition, used machines are bought and sold via the AMIS used machinery database, and complete multi-stage size reduction systems are offered.
