The Company
Zerspanungstechnik BOTHUR e.K. was founded in 1980 by Günther Bothur and manufactures high-quality precision parts as a supplier to the mechanical engineering, mould making and toolmaking industries as well as jig and fixture construction. The company turns, mills, grinds, drills, saws and polishes almost all metallic materials as well as nearly all materials available on the market. Machining is carried out on high-precision machine tools and machining centres with up to five fully controlled axes; NC data creation runs via a powerful CAD-CAM system that supports multi-side machining and simultaneous 5-axis movements. The range of services includes individual parts as well as small and large series produced to customer drawings, contract machining of customer parts, assembly of subassemblies up to ready-to-install components, surface treatment, material procurement and the development of optimised production concepts. Around 32 employees work in multi-shift operation at the machining centre in Leopoldshöhe-Asemissen, conveniently located near the A2 motorway.
