About ZEVAC
Zevac AG is a Swiss company based in Grenchen (canton of Solothurn) that develops and produces machines for component placement and joining technology, including soldering processes. The focus is on rework systems for SMT and THT printed circuit boards in electronics manufacturing: from the manually operated desoldering and soldering device to the fully automatic multifunctional platform for placement and soldering applications. The systems cover desoldering, contactless residual solder removal (Site Clean), grinding, dispensing, precise milling removal of components (ONYX MILLING) as well as micro-assembly. Software and hardware development as well as production of the machines take place together with the partner company Infotech AG in the same building, with 100% of development and 95% of production carried out in Switzerland. Together with Infotech, the company employs around 220 staff and sells its systems via a worldwide partner network in America, Europe and Asia. Since 1978, more than 6,000 systems have been installed; in addition, Zevac offers training, service, support and refurbished used machines.
