About Power Genius
Power Genius (Zhuhai Virtual Power Plant Technology Co., Ltd., ZVPP), founded in 2023, is a provider of integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS) for commercial and industrial applications. The product portfolio comprises liquid-cooled outdoor energy storage cabinets of the Genius Stack series (125-261LS with 125 kW/261 kWh and 250-233LS with 250 kW/233 kWh) and air-cooled systems (105-229AS, 56-112AS) as core components of multi-energy microgrids. The storage cabinets (1000×1400×2280 mm, IP55, corrosion protection class C4, approx. 2350 kg) use LFP battery cells (3.2 V/280 Ah or 314 Ah) with cell-specific perfluoroketone fire suppression. BMS, EMS, battery pack and high-voltage distribution are developed in-house; a BMS for 1500-V or 1000-V systems allows parallel connection of up to 10 cabinets. Thermal and cooling circuit simulations keep the cell temperature difference in the liquid cooling system below 3 °C. Application scenarios include peak shaving, peak-valley arbitrage, grid-tied PV storage, off-grid and hybrid microgrids as well as virtual power plants. Applications exist, among others, in China, Vietnam, Brazil, Bulgaria, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Ukraine; a grid-side project in Dezhou, Shandong is in operation.
