Ziegelwerk Bellenberg Wiest GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures at its Bellenberg site in Bavaria bricks, high thermal insulation precision bricks and finished brick products made of fired clay. The product portfolio includes the VD precision brick building system with the series Bellenberger MZ60 (e.g. MZ60 Fibracor with integrated insulation), MZ65, MZ70 as well as the multi-storey residential building bricks MZ75-G, MZ80-G and MZ90-G, complemented by block bricks, precision infill bricks, formwork bricks, brick lintels, roller shutter boxes and floor edge elements. The precision bricks are laid with capping thin-bed mortar under DIBt approval Z-17.21-1211; the MZ60 achieves a bulk density class of 0.55 kg/dm³, strength class 8 and a calculated thermal conductivity value of 0.060 W/mK. Customers are the single-family, semi-detached and terraced house segment as well as multi-storey residential construction; the company sees itself as regionally oriented ("From the region – for the region") and delivers within Germany. Services include technical construction consulting, construction site delivery, tool rental for the VD precision brick building system and project support. An energy management system according to ISO 50001:2018 is certified by DEKRA; the research and development activities were recognised by the Stifterverband with the quality seal "Innovative through Research".
